Ted, one more thing to consider about the McCain campaign talking trash about Palin.

In football, you don't blame the receiver for dropping a Hail Mary.

Very true. I am not saying the McCain people are saints for trashing Palin. They are not. After all, McCain picked her with little vetting. However, Palin has an uncanny knack for stirring things up in a negative way. That's what bothers me most about her.

Palin WAS the football. But, the hail Mary was a crappy pass, and fell way short of the end zone.
