Yes, but it's the difference between inclusion and exclusion. It makes no effort to force a change in personal lifestyle or behavior on anyone else merely to prevent exclusion from the definition, which is why I support it. (Although I didn't realize I did until I thought about it while swimming today :)<<

For the record, Prop 8 was a proposal to amend the California State Constitution to eliminate the right of gay people to marry. A Yes vote was to eliminate that right. Those of us who support equal rights for homosexuals were opposed to it.
