I don't worry about the fairness doctrine. The democrats and big media are partners. The fairness doctrine would cost big media $billions and they would be stuck with worthless AM stations. I expect quiet pressure on the talent to be more conciliatory toward the administration, or at least back off on priority topics.

I would prefer to stay away from it, but if liberals want to legislate their way into conservative strongholds, conservatives would be wise to turn the law against them and go after liberal havens.
