There were many that benefitted from the Drittes Reich and many still have warm fuzzies for some of those leaders.

I am not saying they are comparable, but the fact that there are people with fond memories means nothing.

The Reagan world view was exclusionary and cynical. It lead to clear failure. The educated people of the United States have clearly rejected that world view.

There are still people like the governor of Alaska(who does not know that Africa is a continent) who wants to lead us back to those good old days.

We should not do anything to encourage those people. We should not do or say anything that gives those thoughts any legitimacy.
