The votes in the various states for the family, keeping marriage as sanctity between a man and woman, is a total juxta position to the perception that followers had of Obama during the primary and general election.

Voters voted conservative on family issues yet bought into Obama's two words change and hope.

Voters were clear in not wanting a change in the way our laws view marriage.
