Try getting motor oil out of an engine and back into the bottle.

Perhaps this guy is good at writing but has little talent with mechanical problems. To get the oil out of an engine you just take out the drain plug and put a funnel underneath it and "hey presto" all that oil goes back into the bottle, even with the engine running.

Regarding mopping up excess liquidity out of an economy there are many ways to deliver an all encompassing tax if you need to. A sales tax like our European "VAT" can do it. Mind you that would increase prices I suppose, an inflationary move.

Anway, my answer is ... buy more gold -g-

>> he foresees no growth and falling prices <<

not so bad if you still have income -- actually it could be quite good, if the rascals would let it happen -- what the heck is wrong with lower prices for everything. Let's let the market clear.
