Look, this guy is a special brand of asshole...he campaigned against Kerry in 04 and may have cost him south florida, and then really came out strong against obama...his VP ambitions unfortunately didn't pan out...mccain did us all a favor and picked palin...but that's another story.

So, i answer your Q with a Q...at what point should the dems conclude that he is a thinly veiled political enemy?
