If children were an integral part of marriage, then there would be a requirement for married people to have children. I, for one, am not particularly comfortable with having my children be exposed to aggressive religious people attempting to convert them. How come religious people can be so afraid of a right they have - converting people to their beliefs - that they would take away the right to marriage from a group for fear that such marriage would cause an undue influence on their children? It seems that homosexuals should be more worried about Christians than vice versa. And the thing about religious beliefs and business - a restaurant owner can't say "hey, you can't eat here because of my religious beliefs, but you can go down the street to Denny's". So why should a doctor be able to say the same thing?
