It's a shame he made that off-handed comment, because I thought he did well with his first press conference overall.

The comment showed where he goes in his mind when not measuring and considering his responses. He's used to speaking to a very leftist group of friends and associates, where comments of a derogatory nature toward anything Reagan is openly accepted and never questioned.

It's the equivalent of Rush Limbaugh talking about politics. His natural dislike of everything related to liberalism will come out.

Unlearning what Obama has learned for such a long period of time is going to be very difficult for him. It appears he's trying to fight the urge, and the quick apology to Nancy Reagan shows it to a degree.

It certainly was....I agree with everything Mike just said...If Obama seriously wants to be the Uniter for the American Citizens, then he'd better think of them as friends rather than enemies....
