I had a cop lie to try to nail me, too. He pulled me over for speeding and said they had me on radar. I hadn't been speeding and I was pissed off. Then he said too much. He said, "we've been following you since you turned off Hillcroft."

I had not turned off Hillcroft. Not only that, I hadn't been driving in that direction. I had just bought a book at "Murder By The Book," which had a time stamp on the receipt. You don't cross Hillcroft to get where I was.

"I'm not going to spoil your driving record," the cop said, and went back to his car. <G>

The good news was that I wasn't black, hispanic or Muslim.

But it is impossible for the cops to admit they made a mistake.
