Also the chain gangs after the civil war. Two jail systems in the south. Whites went to a regualr jail. Blacks were often arrested for nothing and then sold to farm owner's for slave labor. And most blacks were "rented" to land owners as slaves. And the owners were free to beat them to death. Few ever survived 10 years. They were beaten and forced to drink from the same water they defecated in. And often they were kids. This went on until WWII!! PS, it was a post similiar to this one, that Dale Baker who considers himself a centrist and the voice of reason, banned me for posting. I guess the center considers bigotry OK-lol. I am still pissed about that ban-lol. The unfit thread banning did not bother me at all as I consider the source-lol.
