Jackson 5-1307 A prefix and FIVE digits? You're just a callow yute! Ours was once WEst 1717. Farwest Cab was MAin 1717. My old man had a short fuse. When the bars closed on Saturday night we'd often get calls for a cab. When it became routine the old man cooled, quit the invective. Thereafter he'd just respond "Yes Sir, We'll have a cab there at once." Then he'd chuckle at the angry repeat calls some poor dispatcher would be fielding. And go back to sleep.
