Understood, and I doubt anything either of us says would convince the other. A disagreement likely flowing from basic philosophical differences.

I would only say that I dont want the right to inculcate my child with their family values in school and I dont want the left to do the same with their community values. I know some level of that is inevitable with schooling, but I want it to minimize it as much as possible.

If I were that age and Obama's proposal passed I wouldn't do it, I'd buy my way out of the requirement or find some other out.
