I sent Deborah Howell this email:

Trying to regain some credibility for the Washington Post, Ms. Howell? It won't be that easy or that cheap. According to Rasmussen, over 70% of Americans understand that the media had their thumb in the scale for Barack Obama - and that includes a majority of Democrats, not to mention nearly every Republican!

You had better hope and pray that Barack Obama does not have any serious skeleton in his closet, the kind which could erupt into a serious scandal despite the best efforts of you and the other MSM gatekeepers to suppress it. It could be there. We both know you never looked for it. Barack Obama was a story that was "too good to check" from the moment he came out of the gate. So pray that he doesn't have a talkative mistress, or an informant willing to describe a stint dealing cocaine in college, or that Reverend Wright isn't feeling vindictive. Because if a scandal breaks out, I don't think your expressions of innocent surprise are going to fool anybody this time.
