I would like to see young people have lots of choices. And it would be great if some young person like you could make some money AND do some service to the country, and learn something useful, but not necessarily have to go in the military. It's great for some, but it's not for everyone. The people I know who were in the Peace Corps were tremendous people and got a lot from their experiences. Of course they also got in to Boalt, so I don't know how people who were not quite as bright did in the Peace Corps, but the folks I met loved it.
