i believe some shocking proportion of usa voters are of the persuasions that discourge thinking, and that is the systemic nature of training triumphing over education, dogma surging over thinking, and spin overpowering truth. no matter, time will tell and is acting.

Agree completely.

The elections were the triumph of hope over experience. However, given the choices, precious little could be done.

I voted for Ron Paul as a protest, knowing full well it was a waste of a vote and that, if the impossible took place and he was elected, he would make a terrible President.
