the predicted a 16 mos recession and said we are 10 mos into it. My office has an email subscription. Mindmeld seems to have seen it also, let me ask hin if there is a webpage.

A few people around SI have mentioned it.

I guess my office must be paying for the Long leading index. Usually I just glance at it because I am only peripherally involved in economics.

edit here are some paraphrases of the same thing I saw in the email,
1. ECRI says recession has started, march 08
reuters.com

2. This week- ECRI says recession to last at least 16 mos
seekingalpha.com

Now you could dwell on that and say they said "at least 16 mos" but they try for a correct hit on this stuff and are not deliberately trying to undershoot, thats what we find. We take their dates as reasonable, and if they thought this was going to last 30 mos they would have said it
