yeah well, dems like work projects. so the bailout will be for the work ethic. as in infrastructure and alt energy. imo.

Winnah, winnah, chicken dinner! Good points, very good points. I think we probably differ on how the Dems will want to "help" the average American. I think they will use government-centric stimulus as opposed to cutting checks. Six hundred bucks was a token offer and they were acting like that was going to turn the economy when they did it...no way they will pony up a couple trillion to the masses.

I'm pretty cynical regarding either side and posit that they are both self interested borgs using Federal power to their own, and those they owe, ends. I can certainly see Rahm Emanuel did wonders at Fannie. ;-)

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose (or whatever that idiom is...8th grade French was a long time ago).

I think the first labradoodle might put the kibosh on the excess spending. Ours is pretty thrifty. You offer him mighty dog or Iams... he wants the Alpo ... DRY.
