so maybe by tomorrow or monday then. went to dinner tonite.... all complained they had lost not only 40% profits in their retirement accounts, but another 30% into negative territory. all... have done nothing. one talked about it being on paper. shades of the dotcom bust, episode deux. japanese lady started to grill me. i suggested i would not be surprised if the spx were at 500 or 400 sometime in our near lives. i was very careful never to use the word "no" and at all times to leave my tone as a wonder and not a lecture. that conversation came to an end, only because i went to the restroom long enough for the conversation to change. no one ever returned to the topic, and all went on to talk about the election, and not about their changed futures no candidate will change for the better... because, simply, no candidate can. we had a medical school chief, a securities lawyer, and egyption born architect who works for sheiks, all of the world and in the world. hopeless.
