Or maybe your perception of him has changed. not at all. at both of those milestones he had to take on more responsibility. his load is heavier and he can't alienate large groups of people. he has to earn their trust. he can do it but the approach changes when the campaign is over. i'm not saying his character is changed... but his rhetoric and his approach to change had to change. He had to WIN the election first eh? <in sarah palin voice> U bettcha. Do you believe that he will transcend past American presidents? I do. i have the audacity to hope that i am witnessing our transition from the worst american president to the best american president. This dude's different is what I think. Like totally without many anchors attached to mess with him. In your life you never knew, until you knew. Then you knew. Bingo. he's probably the least encumbered by the system's claws of anyone who has ever reached the office.
