If you are saying the law is what the 5 of the 9 US Supreme Court justices say it is you're right But they are at least to supposed to follow precedent (or explain why in the particular case before them the precedent doesn't apply)<<

koan: What the supreme court is supposed to do and what it does, are two different things. Scalia and Rhenquist and many other right wing judges just make up esoteric arguments to justify "making law" they want. Scalia barely tries to hide it.

Remember when Scalia recently put the back of his hand to his chin ( a sign of, I can do what I want, so piss off) to a reporter asking him about his controversial decisions.

I have always believed both Scalia and Rhenquist were/are sociopaths and felt free to interpet the consitution any way they wanted.

And I feel both Roberts and Alito have distorted views of civility. And Clarence Thomas is a disgrace. The Republicans continuously give us inferior and crazy justices.
