That's why I don't wanna go there, too much socialism. Well,
even more in Western Europe. US of A is also headed in that
direction eventually, I am afraid, especially with the
democrats in charge during these bad times. It's a global trend in all
developed countries. Small business startup costs in Canada
are quite high as well compared to the US, but much lower
than in Europe. My prediction is that US of A will have
a lot more socialism and higher taxes within the next 10
years or so, but probably still less than Canada and Europe.
There is simply no way out of the SS/Medicare hole without
raising taxes, canning the programs, or a drastic devaluation
of the currency.
