A whole lot of eastern European allies are going to be abandoning the US as Obama abandons them. Barack will have to have nice chat with Putin - and everything will be ok. Barack snookered McCain on things like public financing - I suspect Putin will show him how it is really done.

Poland's President didn't understand Obama's double talk:

His position is as it was throughout the campaign — that he supports deploying a missile-defense system when the technology is proved to be workable."

The Polish President didn't understand that means Obama is 100% opposed to missile defense - on our part that is. Hell, he even promised to scrap new spending on OUR missile defense:

I will cut investments in unproven missile defense systems.
I will not weaponize space.
I will slow our development of future combat systems.

Will Obama have the sense to couple his abandonment of missile defense for Europe with an agreement for Russia to cancel its plan to move missiles to Poland's border? Not likely.
