YOu made two assertions in that post that you should provide backup for: 1) "hysterical green goals" 2) "mandatory civic service" Please provide proof. My understanding based on what I've read is that he wants to spur growth in our alternative energy industry to help us wean ourselves off of oil, so that we aren't dependent on our worst enemies for our economic and national security. Sounds pretty good to me. As far as civic service, I have not read anything in any policy statement of his that requires mandatory civic service. The only thing that even comes close is that if you want to take advantage of government help for college, then you will be required to give back in the form of civic service, but you are not required to take advantage of gov't help for college.
