Morning Kevin: Here's an article from today's Seattle Times on Boeing's problems. Boeing snarl cuts profit $1.6 billion: seattletimes.com; Bill Whitlow, who follows the company appears bothered by the extent of the problems. "The magnitude of the number is shocking," said industry analyst Bill Whitlow, a Safeco vice president and manager of its Northwest Stock Fund. "We knew Boeing had problems but that amount is surprising." Fourth quarter will be a problem, since they'll miss delivery dates (LUV, for one, has planes set for delivery) and will face penalties.
