I sure hope so. Its part of the reason I keep posting about it, since if we can't define the problem clearly then forget about solutions.

The gold standard vs. a fiat standard area can go on and on, not unlike the many inflation vs. deflation threads. We seem to have some agreement on government being most or at least some of the reason that both have failed at least.
