That was going to be my exact comment. I had a chance to hear Lutz speak to a small group of 150 or so in 2006. He talked about some trends for a certain component that were just backwards. His competitors and certainly all the Japanese were moving in the exact opposite direction. I was very unimpressed.

But he is a "car guy" and he knows what styling moves Americans.
