My aim was merely to determine how extreme your dogma might be.

I've had my kids in private schools and in public schools. The public education system is undoubtably modeled on socialism. That doesn't mean they educate our kids to be socialists or anything but the public education system itself is socialistic.

I like the resources and opportunities offered in the public education system that is a strength. It's weaknesses are dogmatic resistance to change and innovation.

Private schools are amenable to change and innovation that is their strength. Shoot they can turn on a dime at any time. Their weaknesses comes from easily corruptable school boards.

The success factor in both cases is based more on the level and type of parent involvement than it is on the type of system the kids are working in.
