<And what do YOU think socialism is? Obama's desire to "create jobs" will result in public funds flowing to businesses which are gladly willing to take the funds and hire to accomplish projects the government sees fit to "create," with tax money not yet collected, or with more deficits.>

Or Bush's desire to take public money and prop up Wall Street gamblers?

Or FDR's projects to put millions to work during a depression?

Take your pick. Who cares.

Well, if you like laissez faire, you should go to Russia. They are in a very advanced stage of laissez faire where all the rich and powerful have squeezed out everyone else. That is the logical conclusion of Darwinistic laissez faire. That is why our system is better. It safeguards the market by making sure competition lasts and that the playing field remains level, while minimizing corrupting forces or monopolistic tendencies.

What I've learned in life is that moderation in ALL things is usually best. Too much of anything, even market freedoms, is a bad thing over the long run.
