See, that proves what I have said repeatedly...the GOP offers nothing to the country but criticism of the other side. Nonsense. My statement is simply a recognition of the political reality of failed social programs. The Left will stop any effort to solve these problems because they provide power for the Dems. One need only look at the closing days of the recent campaign in which Obama lied through his teeth claiming that McCain would "cut" benefits. It was totally made up without the slightest foundation, whatsoever. But it was politically convenient to use the scare tactic as the Left always does. The last thing the Left wants is to eliminate programs that promulgate more reliance on government and further redistributions of wealth. That is how they retain power.
