No. I like sweet and spongelike. I can get through more material that way.

My rambunctious class had characters in it who were CONSTANTLY interrupting the lesson. For example, two boys decided to go over to the pencil sharpener and then RUN OUT the DOOR. Excuse me? Did they think I wouldn't notice? So I had to call campus security, and put the miscreants in our internal suspension unit- which I almost never use.

I love the bright kids who choose not to be in honors- I love the freaky readers, but that is not who these kids were.

Actually one of the kids who ran out the door was one who went up from basic to advanced (that's a complete jump over "proficient" right to advanced.)

Don't ask me how that happens. I don't know.

I want to find a lesson, I really do. But I don't know what it is. I'll just keep trying with everyone, and hope it works out most of the time.

I console myself that I'm at least above average- even if it's only by a little bit in some classes. I'm sure some of our teachers are below, and that would really depress me.
