every company except GE goes under eventually it seems. It doesn't mean there are no opportunities to create wealth in the boom times.

Jaguar succeeded as an image and a brand. Whoever the founder of of Jaguar certainly got rich. The early investors of Jaguar also got rich, and if there was anyway to monetize the logo/brand, it probably still has a lot of value today. Its unfortunate all these recent buyers of the brand can't make money at it, but who cares?
