My Marine brother really enjoyed it. He called last night. Four years ago at the Marine Corps Ball my brother repeated the tradition started by my father when he asked mom to marry him back in 1941. Mom and the families of two of his three siblings were in attendance. It was very moving to have all those Marines paying attention. Many of them could still get in their dress blues. Bill has been happily married now after several false starts including three to a woman who did not appreciate him.
