I don't know about maverick61, but I certainly don't. I just wish they'd exercise it once in a while, on an individual basis.

I don't think anyone has indcated a problem with freedom of the press. Certainly the press is free to print what it wants and those who disagree are just as free to criticize.

I know a lot of folks think that freedom of the press means the press should be free to express beliefs with which they agree.

By the way what is your view on the "fairness" doctrine.

Not at all - however, when the press turns into lemmings and cheerleaders for one side instead of doing their job, they do all of us a disservice
