I see intelligence in Engineers, mathematicians, physicists. Not bozos who sit around discussing why Marxs was great. I know people like that, they can't logic their way out of a locked car they are sitting in. Totally clueless.

Isn't that the truth! The smarter they are, the better chance we have of making good long term decisions as a country. However, get a bad apple who's smart and they can do a lot more damage in a much shorter period of time. One thing we all knew about Bush Jr is that he was well meaning. I think he honestly believed he was doing the right things. And depending on which side of the aisle you sit, you may agree with him. But we can all agree that he did what he thought was right, despite the consequences to his historical standing and reputation.
