Exactly. The exit poll Penn cites revealed that those over $200K represented 6% of the 124 million voters, or about 7.4 million voters total. Obama beat McCain 52%-46% in this group. That's a difference of less than 450,000 votes, a relatively small portion of Obama's 8 million vote margin.

Furthermore, if just half of all U. S. lawyers are in that income group, breaking 80/20 for Obama would account for the entire difference.
