Many years ago I was in the men's wear business. Haven't worn a suit or sport coat in 30 years. Well I had a Hickey Freeman cashmere sport coat back then that was custom made. Thought about buying one and looked it up. Off the rack it's 1'850 now. I don't need one that badly.

Had coffee today with and old school chum of 45 years. He ran the sanitary district here that grew from serving 85k people to serving 300k people. His last project before retiring was building a second plant. That plant needed 15 acres but they bought 300 acres so no one could put in a subdivision next to it and bitch. 285 acres went into wildlife habitat. The deer have exploded and 18 have been hit with cars near the plant this year. He got hired back to shoot a lot of deer this season. Looks like his freezer will be full. Earlier I sold him my Marlin 3" 12 bolt action with a rifled barrel and a scope. It's good to 150 yards so he should nail a bunch of them.
