Scrapps, I just downloaded a new version of Communicator hoping to eliminate some low grade illegal instruction errors that I get on my system. In contrast to your experience a couple of weeks ago, my experience was to get the whole 8.4 MB in about 30 min. The reported rate was about 4.4kb/sec with my link reporting connected at 52KB. (x2 of course) While it's not as fast as say a Waqar Younis delivery, it was pretty respectable. That seems to jive fairly well with the report from the internet performance report posted yesterday. Talk about cable modems may be a little premature, even though I want one, if the infrastructure can't deliver. Btw, I came across a Waqar Younis web site: sun1.iusb.edu I was surprised that it wasn't faster though. <g>
