Todd Palin, never elected to anything, has a bizarre relationship to his wife's jobs. Alaskans complained that he would be in official meetings and he obviously became enmeshed in everything Sarah while he should have been taking care of the kiddies. She supports him so he should take care of the home and not be meddling in government affairs. I heard she spent $40,000 worth of other people's money on clothes for Todd...for his 2 month or so stint in the public eye. I also heard she spent $249 or thereabouts for a single outfit for Trig. That's a chunk of change. I hope the RNC is actually sending in auditors to figure out where the clothes are (rumor is she had to buy 13 trunks to haul the haul around) or, at least, reporting all of that as income to the Palins. I guess they could get the 'wealthy donor' to declare them as gifts and pay gift tax for the Palins but it doesn't sound as if they want to do that.
