"rather than look back and admit that your politicians of favor have put us in an incredible bind."

That would mean owning the mistakes.

Won't happen.

No, you will be judged using the "standards" you created. Otherwise you're nothing more than a hypocrite. Easiest way you will lose in 2010 and 2012 is to fail to live up to YOUR expectations of the previous administration.

Now calm down and get to work; you still have 200 more votes to manufacture in Minnesota...

>>> all you do is bitch about what you presume will take place

Nobody knows what Obama is going to do because his positions have flipped and flopped all over the place. The range of possibilities is is infinite. Will he try to kill the 2nd Amendment? Nobody knows.

Will he try to create a Gestapo? Not out of the question.

Will he try to get tax increases in the face of economic crisis, even though we know tax increases kill an economy? Who knows? He said he would, but does he now have the gumption to realize it would be a mistake?

Will he try to withdraw troops from Iraq faster than ANYONE who knows anything about the subject is recommending? Or will he understand there are excellent reasons why a faster withdrawal should not be attempted?

Will he start dumping troops into Afghanistan as he has claimed he would, even though doing so may be devastating if not done pursuant to a greater strategy?

Will he cut missile defense or quickly come to realize just how stupid that would be?

As Krauthammer has recently pointed out, there are national security matters he is now becoming privy to that will make his hair stand on end. Will he ignore the intelligence in favor of campaign promises made in ignorance, or will he come to his senses?

What we do not know about this neophyte is far more than we DO know. So nobody can "presume" anything; we have to wait and see what direction he and the liberals in Congress decide to take us. It is our process and we must live with it. And hope like hell he isn't as stupid as would be apparent.

Now now, let's give your party the credit it deserves for its part in the mortgage meltdown. Barney Frank, his special pal, Herb Moses, Chris Dodd, Franklin Raines, JAmie Gorelick, James Johnson, Chris Cuomo .... I could go on and on ... plenty of Democrats were involved. Lets not cheat them out of their share of the credit.

The fallacy in your rant of course is that "its all Bush's fault"....which of course anyone not afflicted by BDS can see is patently false....there's plenty of blame to go around Repub & Dem, WH and Congress....and even on the people who elected all these clowns....
