You are correct. Stevens has been convicted and should be gone.
Now, you don't seem to come across as thinking that Rangel is too bad, even though he is charged with tax evasion and he certainly knows tax law. What makes him so different than Joe the plumber?

Is there any valid reason to want to have people of this character work for us irregardless of party affiliation?
