That led me to this, but there's not enough here to make sense of it. No link to the purported email, no analysis of why the KRG would do this. Very puzzling...

Qubad Talabani endorses anti-war Left? [Michael Rubin]

Yesterday the Kurdistan Regional Government office in Washington—which Iraqi President Jalal Talabani's son Qubad Talabani runs—sent out an e-mail to their entire list endorsing an article discussing the 900+ "lies that led to war." The article was by a professor who in the past has written sympathetically toward the PKK which the State Department defines as a terrorist group and which has been the center of a recent conflict between Iraqi Kurdistan and Turkey. It is quite disappointing that Qubad Talabany and the Kurdistan Regional Government would do such a thing after nearly 4,000 U.S. servicemen have given their lives. It is not what allies do. Qubad, it is time you publicly repudiate such material coming from your office and in the name of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
