Still no one on the left will address the lifting of the FICA cap on income above $250K. Cause you know, individuals making $250K or more can "afford"

I can doing away with payroll taxes, and just having income taxes. Instead of having one regressive tax and one very progressive tax, we just have one flat tax, probably one that is made more "progressive" in its effect by including a large standard deduction.

But perhaps the transition problems would be larger than the gain.

Funny me, insisting that people either pay for what they ordered or share equally in the bill. "Hey dude, you make less than half I do, right? Don't worry, I'll pay for half of what you ordered. Oh whoops, did I say that out loud?"

You created an absurd example and insisted that I answer w'in its context...so you got what you asked for, with the proper qualifiers that it was a bad example.

Still no one on the left will address the lifting of the FICA cap on income above $250K. Cause you know, individuals making $250K or more can "afford" it.

There will always be someone richer than you, and there will always be someone poorer than you.

Why don't you just wait to see what they will do first then you can complain and offer your better alternatives (as long as they are not that we need to do nothing like you did just yesterday)

I have. And I'm for it. Frankly, I'd be for lifting it on $102.5K-$250K, too, even though I fall in there.
