Nasty stuff, TJ. I have kept my finger on the pulse of this narco-war [it is indeed a war], and can verify that it is huge, vicious beyond comprehension, and has taken the lives of two top government officials, including the no. 2 guy in Mexican government IMO as a warning to El Presidente. It is concentrated mainly in the northern Mexican states, i.e., those that border Texas, new Mexico, Arizona and California so spillover is practically guaranteed, in time. No car bombs yet, but that's coming.
