[ Re Bell Canada Announcement ]

Hi Donn,

Just got my copy.

What will be interesting is to see how much the ISP's mark up the ADSL service. I checked Bell's own Sympatico ISP site, but nothing there yet. Also nothing on Netcom or Magma, the other ISP's that I am familiar with so far.

If I see any, I will post. Please let us know if anything shows up at your end.

John

<<<Effective today, ADSL will be offered in the Ottawa/Hull and
Qu‚bec City areas, and then gradually deployed in selected
locations of Bell Canada's territory in 1998. >>>

Best news in weeks!! Don't you just love those words, "effective today?????"

Right now I don't care if Aware's putting the darn modems in. I'm just glad ADSL is getting prime time. (Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a little.)

Where's Bond??? You ready to crack open a bottle yet? Or should we wait for GTE? <G>

Cheers!
