Levels like that are attractants - for obvious reasons. We're all sitting around here discussing how we're going to buy, or at least cover, when a decent probe of that level occurs, and not a moment sooner.

What I will be watching with great interest is whether the levels hold and become support for a while, or if they fold quickly, and the levels become resistance. There's also the matter of the huge difference between NDX and SPX in terms of distance from those lows. Will be interesting to see if it leads to the NDX playing catchup to the downside.

I still see huge pent-up supply when I peruse the NDX, and plenty of downside potential in the DJIA.
