I'm not suggesting that I support her. I just wanted to give everyone a preview of the deliberations that are going on in Illinois. Duckworth is destined to be a very visible presence in Washington D.C., either as a Senator or as a highly place appointee in Obama's administration.

I may be wrong, but I don't think that the national Democrats are going to be too aggressive about Second Amendment rights, at least during Obama's first term. The issue remains toxic for them.
