Yes, exactly. You call Brinker a basher when you say he was "bashing the bears". We call those who bash Brinker for eight years and more "bashers". What don't you understand about that? Where have you been for the last eight years?

What do you want to say, that Brinker should be patted on the back for making fun of the bears earlier this year?

Nobody said that except you. He's made some mistakes. As it turned out, he was wrong. Note that I'm not saying he was wrong to say it, just that his opinion that they were wrong turned out to be incorrect. But it's not wrong for him (or anyone) to speak his mind, even if he later turns out to be wrong.

There are plenty of other things to "pat him on the back" for. Some of us have noted those things, and we are called "shills" for speaking of them, even though we are not shilling for anyone, just speaking our minds. Those who come here to bash Brinker are called Brinkerbashers, or bashers for short.

Seems fair to me.
