Carter created the energy crisis and then said we have to get off of imported oil. His suggestion was to turn down the thermostats and wear sweaters. lol

Agreed. There's no denying that. Even his great ideas around energy independence were lost in his inability to effectively deliver on those solutions.

Very much like Bush. His vision was good, but his execution was terrible. Iraq. Social Security. Small government. Sigh.
