I reached the same approximate conclusion early this morning. I've 4 years of living expenses in cash with some extra in case and good cash flow from what's left of my investments. Even if each cuts their distribution in half, it still generates about 5%. I still have some oil sands, a few gold stocks, several etf's and muni bond funds. I have about 20% less than I had this time last year so I feel lucky. Now if I could just find a way to dump a car lease I have 15 mos to go on, I'd be very happy. You think I can ask for a adjustment <G>?
